AVALANCHE TRANSCEIVER

• AVALANCHE TRANSCEIVER REPAIR:

Your avalanche transceiver is not working properly or is repeatedly displaying an error message. Send your device to the specified address in the service order and we will make sure that the device works properly again.

Please Note:
If the battery has leaked or the device is an old model, we cannot always repair it. More info: What might prevent my product being repaired?

• CHECK:

We recommend that you have us carry out your first avalanche transceiver check after 5 years, and every 2 years after that.

• UPDATE YOUR AVALANCHE TRANSCEIVER:

Would you like to have your avalanche transceivers updated to the most recent software? If so, book this update!

Advice:
With our DIRACT and DIRACT VOICE avalanche transceivers you can you can easily install the update by yourself via the ORTOVOX App.

AVABAG AVALANCHE BACKPACK WITH CARTRIDGE

• Check Up:

The mechanical AVABAG avalanche airbag system is designed for 20 deployments with a cartridge and 100 training deployments without a cartridge. Any system that has been triggered more often must be completely checked.

A comprehensive general service should be carried out no later than 5 years after the date of purchase, and every 2 years after that.

We also recommend an inspection service after every avalanche accident in which the airbag has been deployed.

• Repair:

If you notice damage or wear to the AVABAG avalanche airbag or backpack, a repair service is necessary.

ELECTRONIC AVALANCHE AIRBAG LITRIC

• Check Up:

Avalanche backpacks must function perfectly in an emergency. That is why a regular inspection is necessary.

Your backpack should be checked by our service center after 5 years from the date of purchase at the lates, and every 2 years after that.

We also recommend an inspection service after every avalanche accident in which the airbag has been deployed.

• Repair:

If your Avabag LiTRIC is not working properly or repeatedly displays an error message, a repair is necessary.
